LTT Greater Poland, Poland

LTT Greater Poland, Poland

This is a final short-term joint staff training, planned for September 2021, however because of the pandemic and war in Ukraine, implemented a year later, in September 2022 in Poznań. It lasted 3 full training days. Three participants from all partner organizations met together to gain knowledge of the Polish Heritage Route of the Piast Dynasty and develop their teaching and intercultural competencies, as well as put into practice ideas and inspirations gained during previous project activities and evaluate them afterwards. The participants were selected by the enrolment commissions in their organization, using clear and fair criteria of choice (the participant who gather more points will be selected).

The Route prepared by the project coordinator presented Poznan as a cradle of the Polish nation, the main center of the first Polish state that emerged in the Middle Ages and the oldest capital of Poland. The Route followed the places where the first royal dynasty (the Piasts) had resided, and where they had been baptized.

Participants learned some local legends, traditions and a few words in both in Polish as in a local Poznan dialect. They had the chance to taste some local cuisine products and reveal the secrets, legends and traditions of Saint Martin Croissants and other Poznan prides.
