Jennifer Melendez

Jennifer Meléndez Luces is the Headteacher of the School of Languages ESID Liceo La Paz School (A Coruña – Spain), as well as an English Teacher. She also plays the leading role on international issues through the creation and development of Erasmus+ as well as Linguistic and Cultural Immersion abroad. About her educative career, we can highlight that she is a Graduate in English specializing in Linguistics and Literature. Jennifer Meléndez Luces was also granted two Erasmus + Scholarships: one in 2012 to attend Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and 2015 to do an international Internship at Kontakt School of Languages in Poland. She also holds a master’s degree in Teaching and, currently, she is developing her Ph.D. Thesis on Equity and Innovation in Education. She has participated in several international conferences such as the 5th International Congress on Bilingual Education, III International Congress on Music and Culture for Inclusion and Innovation in Education, and the 7th International Congress on Bilingual Education. In addition, she has published several articles on the field of education and research such as Engaging Ethnic-Diverse Students: A Research-Based on Culturally Responsive Teaching for Roma-Gypsy Students in Education Sciences by MDPI; and The Roma-Gypsy Anthem as a pedagogical tool for Inclusion within the EFL Classroom published by Peter Lang Publisher.

Alexandra Pose 

Alexandra Pose Mora is an English Teacher at Liceo La Paz School (A Coruña – Spain). She also plays the leading role on international issues through the creation and development of Erasmus+ Projects as well as Linguistic and Cultural Immersion abroad. She has completed a degree in English Philology and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and A-Level, Vocational Training and Language Teaching. She has also the QTS which allows her to teach in the UK. Alexandra lived in Manchester from 2011 to 2019 where she worked as a MFL teacher in several schools across Greater Manchester, such as Little Lever School and Xaverian College, where apart from teaching Spanish as a second language, she was also responsible for other tasks such as organising different educational trips and guiding trainee teachers in their professional development. She has also worked for Edexcel Exam Board. Her duties were to complete different trainings and standardisation to be able to mark GCSE Spanish speaking exams. She was responsible for marking a certain amount of speaking exams, meeting the exam criteria and the different deadlines.
